Interviews with Cleveland Sight Center's Call Center and Bennett Day Care are still on, and we are working hard to see if we can get other employers to attend! Maria named her white cane “Sunshine” and loves the confidence it gives her in public spaces! Did you know Ohio is the only state that has the white cane covered by Medicare/aid? Cleveland Sight Center lobbied state government to make it happen!

At Cleveland Sight Center, we know there’s a range of vision that falls under the definition of blindness. In CSC's clinic, our optometrists and occupational therapists help Northeast Ohioans navigate their vision loss, no matter how much vision they have.

Not all helpful tools for the blind and visually impaired community have to be fancy or expensive technology! Sometimes something as common as a plastic bag and rubber band can make life easier for someone with vision loss. https://ow.ly/f2eW50TKMNk

Since working with Cleveland Sight Center, Maria's started to find joy in the simple things. From independently making coffee to picking out matching outfits, she's grateful for the training and tools she's received to keep her independent. What's a simple win in your life you're proud of?
