GenAI and skincare! Not a topic I thought I would be discussing, but here we are. It can sometimes be tricky shopping for the people in your life, especially when it comes to more personal products. Little did I know, it would be genAI that came to my rescue. Beauty brands are a great example of where we see genAI models leveraged to provide hyper personalised customer experiences. Whether you need to colour match a concealer (yes, I know what that is) or want to try on a product, AR and genAI has it covered. Solutions like Pond’s Skin Institute’s AI skin Expert utilise AI to analyse individual customer cases and provide customised product solutions, and industry experts like Vitalia Vasilkova forecast (genAI-powered) voice-activated beauty assistants to become the next common feature. While I suspect to see more individually tailored customer journeys cropping up across all industries, one thing is for sure - buying gifts for my wife just got a whole lot easier!
