I’m excited to showcase an interesting company that came out as winners of CU Boulders New Venture Challenge - CLD-9. CLD-9 is a boulder-based company using AI and robotics to create a just-for-you supplement mix that actually tastes GOOD! Last year, their founder and CEO Khushang Hirpara won the New Venture Challenge competition at CU Boulder where more than 100 companies competed to win $50,000. They took their winnings and have bootstrapped ever since to have a working production line, beautiful(& decomposable) packaging and most of all impressive technology. They have built an AI interface for customers to chat with and create a custom supplement mix to suit their specific needs, which is then delivered as a drink mix, at less than half the price of buying each supplement separately or other options like athletic greens. This is an example of AI technology that will actually help people improve their lives. These founders are really dedicated and I have continuously been impressed by them, and am excited to support them on their journey towards growth!
