Over the moon to finally share that Program is officially a B Corp ?? I've absolutely loved leading on this journey as our Sustainability Champion with brilliant support from Caroline Orr, Emma McLeod, Dan Pritchard and the rest of the team. Over the past year, I've delved into our mission, ethics, transparency, environmental impact, and how we deliver value for our employees and clients. It's been a mission, but it's so worth it to truly hold ourselves accountable to our values, and become one of 2,000 other B Corps in the UK. At the start of your own journey to become Certified? My top three pieces of advice are: ?? Start now! It feels daunting, but you definitely don't need to have all the answers or a perfect score before you start. Sign up now, begin the assessment, and get a clear idea of what score you've got to start with. ?? Get everyone onboard from the get-go. Having leadership understand the importance of B Corp, and being excited about the process, is key to getting it moving. And get buy-in from the whole team to make sure everyone can play a part in their company's journey! ?? Little and often. I set aside Friday afternoons for progressing our assessment, with weekly catch ups with our leadership team. What is a B Corp? March is B Corp month. It is a celebration of all Certified B Corporations around the world by sharing how they move forward together to pave the way for better business. But what is a B Corp and how do you become one? We have a B Leader in our team who can support you in your journey. Read below what it is all about and get in touch! What is B Corp? The B Corp movement is a global initiative led by B Lab, a nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming the global economy for the betterment of people, communities, and the planet. The B Corp movement fosters a community of businesses striving to balance profit with purpose, creating a network of like-minded organizations focused on social and environmental responsibility. Being part of the network offers many opportunities such as attracting customers, employees, and investors who value ethical practices and sustainability. How can a company become a B Corp? Companies that join the B Corp movement undergo a certification process, the B Impact Assessment, a tool that measures the company’s social and environmental impact, helping it improve its sustainability performance. A certain threshold, set by B Lab, needs to be reached together with legal and transparency requirements in order to be eligible for certification. Companies that are certified show a commitment to ethical business practices and sustainability that demonstrate their dedication to making a positive impact beyond just financial gains. B Leaders can help you navigate the journey. They completed the training programme run by B Lab (Switzerland) which trains individuals to work with other companies who wish to become certified B Corps. Why would I want to certify my company? The benefits of being a B Corp are multifaceted. Companies with this certification can showcase their commitment to social and environmental responsibility. We are thrilled to announce that we have achieved the prestigious ?? ???????? ??????????????????????????, obtaining ??????.?? ????????????, positioning us well above our sector performance! ??Our?B Corp Journey?: IMPACT LABS.earth was founded under the premise and the promise that our work would ???????????????????? ???? ???????????? ???????????????? ???? ?????????? ?????? ?????????????? ?????????????? ???????? ???????????? ?? ???????? ?????????????????????? ???????????? ???????? ?????????? ???????????????? operations. ???????????????????? is also one of our key values: ?????????????? ?????? ???????? ???? ?????? ????????????????????.?At this point we looked up to B Corp as a great frame to formalize our ambition of exemplarity, and the opportunity?to integrate?the B Corp community. We already had some elements, the others had to be?built from scratch. Our mission and vision were the first bricks which we had created together as a team: ??♂??????? ??????????????: ???? ???????????????? ???????????????? ?????? ???????????? ???????????????? ???????????? ???? ??????????. ?? ?????? ????????????: “Humans need to re-invent a new Sustainable World and Economy where ???????????????? ???? ???????? ???? ?? ?????????? ?????? ????????, with strong Social Foundations and ???????????? ?????????????????? ????????????????????, to drive ???????????????? ???????????? on People, Society & Planet.” But all of this was very much theoretical until we built the foundations of our ????????????????????????'?? ???????????????????? ????????????: we needed Policies, Processes and Data tools to fully embody what we were standing up for. ?? ???????? enabled us to refine ideas that we already had but also to implement aspects we hadn’t thought about. It gave us the chance to have great discussions and to develop internally great tools for us to truly track what we are up to like our assessment tool to measure the impact our work has had on the client. ?? ?? ???????? ???????????? to the B Lab ????????s for their support during the process! ?? We are really excited to be certified and even more excited to be part of the ?? ???????? ?????????????????? ( ?? Laetitia Arrighi de Casanova ). We are eager to learn, evolve and ???????????????????? ???? ?????? ???????????? ???? ???????????? around the globe and locally in Portugal where we are currently enrolled in becoming a BLeader Partner.
