“Our anchor clients just kind of went away” Sound familiar? That’s the norm in recruiting. And something I heard from a successful agency owner recently. And like him, many recruiters rely on one, two, or three clients for the majority of their revenue. And like him, many recruiters see these anchor clients go from bringing in 20+ job orders a year to just one or two. Anchor clients typically come with an expiration date in direct hire. That's why you need to Always Be Prospecting. The method I recommend is the 3 C’s: Connect. Content. Calls. Do all 3 every day and you’ll avoid those huge dips in revenue when an anchor client expires. I’m writing more about how to accomplish this, at a HIGH level, this in depth in tonight’s newsletter.
