A big thank you to Bench Mark Program for joining us at our corporate campus today for a lunch & learn! Executive Director Will Kiefer, Bench Mark staff, and students spoke to employees about Bench Mark's programming, the growth they've experienced over the last 10 years, and their plans for the future. Bench Mark Program was founded to provide more opportunity for under-served youth. They work directly with students to create positive gym spaces where they feel safe, understood, and empowered. Through physical exercise, academic counseling, and career coaching, they offer a support network that students can rely on for the rest of their lives. “When faced with difficult decisions, we are often terrible quitters." Earlier this month, I had the opportunity to give a ProSales Talk to an audience of over 150 students, faculty members, and judges. I chose to explore the difficult—and often controversial—topic of quitting in a society where we tend to overextend ourselves. Many of us stay in certain roles or situations out of obligation, but I encourage you to reassess your?WHY?and “go for the great” in the areas that genuinely serve you.
