Another Orchid for a City project! ?? The Ellen Browning Scripps Memorial Park comfort station in #LaJolla received the award from San Diego Architectural Foundation (SDAF) last week. The multi-use facility provides visitors with showers, restrooms and changing rooms in a scenic spot overlooking the cove! ?? #SanDiego

Today, staff officially closed the book on a record year for our Capital Improvements Program. During fiscal year 2024, we invested $1.04 billion in infrastructure projects, the largest investment ever. This resulted in more than 75 miles of asphalt overlay, more than 30 miles of water and sewer main installations and replacement and 14 award-winning projects. Oct. 7-11 is National Customer Service Week. Thanks to new technology, the hiring of more customer support representatives and added online resources, the City’s Public Utilities customer service has improved substantially from a year ago.
