NDC @ design phase of Chashma Right Bank Canal - Lift Cum Gravity (CRBC – LCG) Project in 2002. We appreciate WAPDA’s continued confidence in NDC as we embark on yet another challenging phase of construction supervision of CRBC-LCG Project. The CRBC-LCG Project will achieve development of 286,000 acres (115,600 ha) of un-cultivated area of D.I. Khan plain, through a lift-cum-gravity canal, off-taking from the Indus River at Chashma Barrage. Few salient features of this project are as follow: - 39 miles long Feeder Canal, from Chashma Barrage to the pumping station - Pumping station to lift about 2500 cusec of water by about 64 ft. - 73 miles long Main Canal along-with Irrigation distribution system of > 265 miles - A regulator/new intake structure, off taking from the right side of the Chasma headrace channel - Flood protection and drainage works to protect the area against flood and sheet flow of hill torrents - OFWM of the project area
