Hi, I'm Shannon Gutierrez. I'm the owner of Liquid House right here in downtown Aurora. I had a passion for beautiful things. I love to put together outfits and things like that, and also createspace for people to hang out and connect in real life Actually started in my house on Liquid Drive and on the West side of Aurora with some local friends of mine who made candles and jewelry and things like that. So then it just kind of evolved from there. My passion with creating this larger space that we moved into about 2 1/2 years ago was to be able to really host community focused events. We host brunch with local chefs on Sundays and we work with a lot of different, like local musicians and provide space for them to share their gifts. And so yeah, there's always fun stuff. You can pick out an outfit head to toe. We have cards, greeting cards that are made locally by some really amazing women and some fun. Basis for home, definitely a lot of gift items. We love to put together special gifts for friends, really a variety of things that you can find here. We're just so happy that people choose to come into our space and so we're going to give them the option to start with the beverage at the bar. We have plenty of really amazing cocktails that we come up with seasonally. We also partner with Modest Coffee and they've been providing a signature blend of coffee for us for quite a few years now. And then just off you go to shop and find something special for yourself or a friend. We also have a small men's collection, so it's not just for the ladies. We have something for everybody. But I have lived here in Aurora for the last 24 years and I love the community so much. I think it's just really vibrant and I love seeing this downtown kind of coming back to life in so many new businesses opening, everyone is cheering each other on. Wants to collaborate, do things together and support each other. It really is second to none.
