The 2024 BC Craft Beer Convention. Happy to see our booth looked good and had visitors. Another moment to reflect on our progress. It's the third year that I'm coming to the BC Craft Beer Convention as Canvas. First year was just me alone, no booth, just sitting among its members talking about how a machine is coming. The second year I ropped in Christian to help me with the convention. We did not have a booth and just walked among the members speaking with people. This year we have a booth and three attendees! A lot has changed in the three years. A theory has been put into pratice, my grey hair has mutiplied and lastly I have changed. I know Vadim still requires a lot more change, but at the moment my change is delegation. Adding members on the team to support and grow Canvas. In fact i'm looking at hiring a senior finance leader. For me personally that is a weird spot as that is my career progression and my passion. Yes, numbers can be a passion! Hence if you know a great controller looking for a new opporunity please let me know! I would hire myself but as my mentor mentioned, it would be a dull dull world if everyone was the same.
