The "Trini" Doubles Man - Its "Time" To Change "Trinidad and Tobago Doubles - Doubles are basically a snack sized sandwich made of two(2) flatbread known as bara and filled with a curried chickpea filling. It's one of our Street foods". I bought Doubles this weekend. I requested two (2) "without" Pepper and the Sweet Source. Surprisingly the request just stuck with me from a Leadership perspective while I waited!!! This is the Leadership Angle.... In a Leadership position you can't be "without" 2 things; Competence and Character. Competence is the pepper (Team Achieve your Targets!) and Character the sweet sauce! #LMI

As I reflect upon the Detroit Lions this season, as a Detroiter, I am obviously heartbroken by the way the season ended. I'm also taking in the lessons of leadership and trust. Dan Campbell has lead our team with grit and tenacity, and did it his way. But I'd be remiss if I didn't mention the unwavering trust that Sheila Ford Hamp placed in Coach Campbell. Hiring someone that you believe in is only good if you let them do what you hired them to do, and that's exactly what Sheila did. In a world where quick fixes and knee-jerk reactions are often prioritized, Sheila's patience and commitment to Campbell’s vision stands as a testament to the power of trust. It’s easy to lose faith when the results aren't immediate, or when you go out in a heartbreaking loss like this Saturday. Campbell’s leadership is about more than wins — it’s about building a culture and ensuring his team remains focused on their ultimate potential. While this season may not have ended the way we hoped, this team has heart and grit, and they worked together, something long-time Lions fans haven't seen in years. Next year will be different, but I have no doubt, we'll see more of that Motown Magic. The Lions may not have gone all the way this year, but the groundwork laid by Campbell and his commitment to his players will undoubtedly set the stage for future success. Making lemonade out of lemons. The last few days have been a bit of a cluster. I’m on the road. I drove from Detroit to Toronto and I forgot a jacket. I left my very large, very full toiletries bag hanging in my bathroom in Atlanta. My suitcase zipper broke. Today I drove to Buffalo for an appointment that cancelled. All the things! So I decided to stop at Niagara Falls. And here I was reminded that we are all so small. Minor problems will always be as well as the major ones too. I adapt. I pivot. We can all adapt and pivot.
