The strike, which involved 33,000 workers, halted production of key aircraft, including the 737 MAX, the 777, and the cargo version of the 767. While production of the 787s in South Carolina continued unaffected, Boeing has prioritized workforce training and supply chain stabilization before resuming operations. This pause has severely impacted Boeing’s cash flow, as the company relies heavily on payments tied to aircraft deliveries. Although FAA-imposed caps currently limit production to 38 planes per month, Boeing aims to exceed this number once operations stabilize. The #aerospace company confirmed last week that production of its best-selling #737MAX jetliner restarted in early December, approximately one month after the conclusion of the seven-week strike involving 33,000 factory workers.
