Describing the intensity of a Hurricane Milton brings veteran meteorologist to tears… This abnormally destructive hurricane, following a very unusual path is an evidence that ‘safe zones’ will not always be safe. This is why climate action is necessary- as individuals, businesses, and governments. Not only is it a business survival requirement to mitigate the effects of (now more frequent) climate disasters, it’s a human survival requirement. Disclaimer- climate change is normal, but because of anthropogenic influence, we have sped up climate change by between 170-200 times faster. According to NASA and other sources, between 95%-100% of global warming since 1950 has been the result of human activities.
