As January draws to a close it’s a perfect time to reflect… ? During the last 14 years heading up large, franchised dealerships, what did I want from my disposal channel for ‘trade’ vehicles? ? ·????????Strength of price achieved ·????????Speed of sale ·????????Speed of payment ·????????Ease of use – collections, photography, pre-auction cleaning etc ·????????Personal service – I wanted the person acting on my behalf to know my cars, know me and just as importantly, know the buyers ? Of course, sitting behind each of the above is a whole host of variables that need to be managed, with them all being intrinsically linked to the first bullet point above. ?
