Watch our children's services spokesperson Roger Gough, John Pearce ADCS and Stuart Ashley Hampshire County Council outline the ever-growing pressures faced by counties in delivering children's services to the Education Committee in the House of Commons today. HELLO FRIENDS! My work team, SLC's Homeless Engagement And Response Team, is in the process of creating a K-12 education program, “HELP: Homelessness Education and Learning Program”. To gain some interesting data for our Small Group Meetings to Council the end of July, we have been given permission to send a simple questionnaire to you all and ask for your input. As we see it, here are the goals of the program, which can be either taught as supplemental education, taken as an elective, used for required volunteer hours or as a resume builder: Goals: ? Educate students about unsheltered residents and Empower students when they encounter an unsheltered resident ? Educate students on resources should they experience homelessness ? Change the narrative about homelessness Please click https://lnkd.in/gUctwp2n? Or scan the QR code and help us with gathering data!
