Today is #WorldMentalHealthDay, so I wanted to share some great resources specifically for #NonprofitLeaders ?? So many nonprofit leaders are working tirelessly to advance their mission and support incredible causes, but so many of us are experiencing burnout too. Here are some resources that focus on self-care, putting mental health first, and ultimately reducing burnout in the social good sector. 1?? We Are For Good just went live with their ImpactUp: PAUSE event. It isn't too late to join Becky Endicott, CFRE & Jon McCoy, CFRE for today's live event focused on mental health! 2?? I had a great conversation in a webinar with Barbara O'Reilly, CFRE yesterday, and she mentioned the importance of giving ourselves grace and reducing distractions through deep work/focus time blocks, specifically for the #nonprofit community. Let's talk burnout. We know, not the most exciting thing to talk about, especially when your purpose is so impactful. But it's important to recognize the signs and symptoms of burnout in social impact work and its effects on your organization. Burnout can affect anyone in any job, but the nonprofit sector sees it the most. In a survey of nonprofit leaders, 88% of them said they were approaching or experiencing burnout.
