?? **Reflecting on a Decade of Advocacy and Change** ?? As I mark ten years with the Royal Canadian Legion (RCL), I reflect on both the challenges and triumphs of our shared journey as veterans. Recently, however, I've become increasingly concerned about issues of transparency and accountability within our organization. At the recent Dominion convention, I learned of serious allegations against an elected officer that were not disclosed to delegates. This situation raises critical questions about the RCL’s leadership and its commitment to fostering a safe environment for all members. It is imperative that we prioritize the well-being of our community, ensuring that the RCL remains a place where all veterans can feel supported and welcomed. Change is needed, not just for the organization’s future, but for the veterans it serves. I urge all my fellow veterans and supporters to engage in this conversation. Together, we can work towards a culture of openness, respect, and inclusivity within the RCL. Let’s honor the living by ensuring that our organization reflects the values we stand for. Yours in service,?? Amy Green #RoyalCanadianLegion #VeteranAdvocacy #Change #Leadership #Inclusivity

??? Happy National Airborne Day! ??? Today, we honor the brave paratroopers who exemplify the very essence of leadership, teamwork, and resilience. As a retired U.S. Army warrant officer and airborne paratrooper, I’ve carried the lessons learned from the skies into every step of my civilian career: ? Leadership Under Pressure: Making critical decisions in high-stress environments is second nature—whether in the boardroom or on the battlefield. ? Teamwork and Trust: Just like in the drop zone, success in business hinges on trust and collaboration. ? Adaptability: The ability to adjust quickly to changing situations has been key in navigating the ever-evolving corporate landscape. ? Discipline and Commitment: The discipline honed during rigorous training translates into consistent execution and a relentless pursuit of excellence. ? Risk Management: Assessing and managing risk with precision is something I do every day, thanks to my airborne background. ? Resilience: Mental toughness and the ability to bounce back from setbacks are crucial both in service and in business. On this special day, I salute all the paratroopers out there—past, present, and future. Your courage and dedication continue to inspire! #NationalAirborneDay #Leadership #Teamwork #Resilience #Veteran #ArmyStrong #CorporateLife #WarrantOfficer
It's #NationalAirborneDay! ??? Make sure to thank a paratrooper today! We are grateful for each service member defending our country. ??: DVIDS
