Sometimes, even the best and brightest need a boost to overcome obstacles on their path to success. And when the right support comes along at the right time, it can be life-changing.? That’s the belief driving the mission of the Black Business & Professional Association (BBPA). This non-profit, charitable organization advances equity and opportunity for the Black community across Canada. The BBPA’s initiatives include an annual National Scholarship Program that has provided more than 3,800 scholarships over the last 38 years. The Association takes more than just grades into account when awarding these scholarships – they also factor in personal stories, community service and the unique challenges many Black students face, ensuring that funding goes to those who benefit most. These funds contribute to the success stories of talented graduate and undergraduate students in a variety of studies, including business, STEM, medical sciences and culture - as well as those pursuing skilled trades, athletics, science, community activism and more.? We’re very excited to play a small role in supporting this vital effort by funding two new BBPA scholarships.?This support comes at a crucial time, as the demand is high. The BBPA received over 1,400 applications for its 150 scholarships in 2023 alone. We encourage you to join us in supporting this amazing organization. Your involvement can help connect even more talented Black students with the opportunities they need to succeed. Learn how you can get involved here: https://bbpa.org/ #EmpowermentThroughEducation #SupportingBlackExcellence #BBPA?
