Kicking off this week reflecting on last week's highlight – facilitating workshops with Whitehorse City Council’s community groups on Council's Community Infrastructure Plan. We discussed current infrastructure trends and future needs with 2 community groups – arts and culture groups, and sporting groups (tennis and bowls). We got them thinking on: ? Future community infrastructure opportunities: What changes are the groups planning or forecasting in the next five years that will alter community's access to their services? ? Current community infrastructure challenges: What programs, services, or people are they unable to serve due to existing infrastructure challenges? ? Testing high level priorities in community infrastructure planning: Council is exploring ways it can provide facilities and infrastructure to more of its community through multipurpose and shared facilities, and programming spaces. So glad to have seen Cindy Plowman in her element! Live, work or play in the City of Whitehorse? Have your say on this project – feedback closes 14 July 2024: https://lnkd.in/gAHWvXMK
