I will explore how this course influenced teachers’ practice 3-5 years later, providing insights and recommendations for trainers on such courses." Last week I spent my time learning with TEFL, with an advanced TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) course for Young Learners - this is children up to the age of 10. It was interesting to go further into child development and learning stages. The course has been instrumental in refining my approach. The course focused on effective methods for engaging children, using tools like videos, quizzes, games, and creative activities. Here are five benefits for young learners: 1. Young learners pick up new languages quickly due to their natural curiosity and adaptable brains! 2. Early exposure to English enhances cognitive development. 3. They develop cultural awareness through language learning. 4. Creative methods like songs and games make teaching and learning fun. 5. Helping young learners build confidence is incredibly fulfilling. This course has expanded my ability to teach effectively and inspired me to share the magic of the English language with my students.
