Domain-Driven Design is such an important and super-useful topic in enterprise software. It is key to managing complexity of any project above a certain size, it helps keep the code easy to maintain over?time and encourages good abstraction and separation of concerns. You'll later want to read the more detailed and comprehensive "Implementing Domain-Driven Design" by Vaughn Vernon, as well as "Domain-Driven Design" by Eric Evans. But this "Distilled" version is the perfect intro into the fascinating subject of DDD. Highly recommended.
If you are searching for a concise, easy-to-read guide on Domain Driven Design, we recommend? "Domain-Driven Design Distilled" by Vaughn Vernon! This book covers key concepts such as ubiquitous language, bounded contexts, domain events and more. We think it’s perfect for everyone aiming to improve their understanding and implementation of DDD principles. #WhiteBoxLearningRecommendation

After going over multiple blog posts, I found this book to be the easiest to understand. System design is actually very interesting because, as an engineer, it gives a real feel of how things work in the real world outside of IDEs. #SystemDesign #Engineering #TechBooks #Learning #RealWorldApplications #IDEs #TechReading #SoftwareEngineering #TechEducation #CodingLife

Our first few pages of the Human-Centered Design Dictionary are written, and it is time to move to the next letter, the letter "B"! ?? First of all, big shout-out to Victor Paredes for his contribution into the dictionary, which is now even more "alive", "aligned" and "agile", with his tripleA of HCD. Victor, do let me know if you want your contribution to be directly linked with your LinkedIn profile for the final version of this little book. ?? Today's word is "Brainstorming", much more than a noun, addressing the viral activity which is so often misunderstood in it's processes and steps resulting in product-centered, and not human-centered design (HCD). Always keep an eye on brainstorming as an evolving topic and methodology to find the most efficient ways to improve it, as it is way more than a buzzword! Now, it's your turn folks, anyone got more "B" words/methods/tools that are closely related to HCD? Want to be one of the co-creators of this little book? Comment below! ???? #HumanCenteredDesign #dictionary #cocreated #letterB #yourturn

“Don’t judge a book by its cover”? Well, the cover is where all stories begin. As the lead designer for ‘Code Resilience in the Age of ASPM’, I’ve had the unique privilege of translating complex ideas into visual language. Our design journey embraced Zen principles, focusing on peace of mind and completeness, aiming to bring harmony and balance to every page. This book isn’t just a vessel for knowledge; it’s a reflection of tranquility amid digital chaos. A huge thanks to my partners in crime, Dor Hasson and Nofar Aharoni, that make this project come to life, to the entire team for embracing this visual vision and contributing their incredible insights and ideas, and to Cycode | Complete ASPM for believing in the power of design. It’s surprisingly unpredictable to work on a physical project in this digital era. As we’ve hoped, “print isn’t dead”—it’s just becoming more premium and less common. Finished Alberto Brandolini’s unfinished #EventStorming book and loved it (will definitely reread it when it will be final) It takes a lot of experience to be able to simplify as such complex flows like system and/or process design. The resulting methodology exactly addresses the issues I have encountered when trying to discuss #softwareDesign with the #business - it is simple so that everyone can participate - it is phased - it removes tech barriers - it is flexible I will definitely be putting the color postIt grammar into action soon https://lnkd.in/e8-Bz-Jw #DDD
