I have been in recruitment for a little over 6 months now and one piece of advice I would offer myself 6 months ago is to build a strong network and prioritise relationship building. ?? Being only 25 minutes away from London is extremely useful when wanting to meet clients and candidates. Recruitment is as much about who you know as it is about what you know. Building and nurturing a network of contacts within your industry can open doors, provide valuable insights, and foster collaboration opportunities. ? Make sure you attend industry events, actively engage with your peers, clients and candidates on LinkedIn. Network, Network and Network!
