Did you know that many Halloween candies contain ingredients that can do more than just cause a sugar rush? High fructose corn syrup, artificial dyes, and hidden trans fats are common in popular treats, contributing to mood swings, energy crashes, and unhealthy cravings. ?? ? ???????????? ????????: This Halloween, try offering treats with natural ingredients or fun, non-candy items. Look for dark chocolate, mini popcorn bags, trail mix, fruit leather, or organic lollipops without artificial dyes and flavors. Or, mix in festive non-food treats like glow sticks or spooky-themed stickers or fake tattos – kids love the surprise! By setting a healthier standard, you’re giving them treats they’ll enjoy and feel good about – and you’ll be helping them make positive choices long after Halloween. ????
