In your career, you'll find things pushing you out of your comfort zone. So, wave at the fear ??, acknowledge it, do what you need to do, and it will get easier. A huge thank you to our guest speaker, Christopher G., for sharing his insights on stepping outside your comfort zone ??

Before taking the next step, take some time to celebrate your success. We are often rushing from one success to another without rewarding ourselves for what was accomplished.

When identity is tied to a specific job or profession and that changes, which is so much more common now, it can feel like our identity has been stripped away and the uncertainty that comes with that can feel so heavy. After being in the same field for 17 years and then changing careers three times in the last 3 years, I've learned (the hard way, of course) that no job, title, or organization, is what creates my worth and value - that's an inside job. From this point forward, that is, and will be, the bedrock from which I live. My goal is to continuously evolve as I move through this life, and that should be no different in the professional arena. #change #identity #evolution #keepitmoving

Your work is what you do, not who you are. ? Instead of saying, “I am a coach or I am a Salesforce Consultant,” I get to say “I support my clients as a coach/consultant.” There’s a significant difference in the details. Being able to separate my identity as my work was one of the biggest challenges for me years ago, but so worth it to have my mental health and harmony as my priority now over my job, which allows me to show up even better these days. ?? #mindset #success #boundaries #empowerment
