Saudi Arabia expected to buy Russian flamethrowers, firearms Weapons have demonstrated perfect performance both during anti-terrorist operations in the Middle East and in the course of the special, Alexander Mikheyev, CEO of Russia’s arms trades Rosoboronexport, told Saudi Arabia is expected to buy Russian TOS-1A heavy flamethrowers, Kornet-EM anti-tank systems and firearms, Alexander Mikheyev, CEO of Russia’s arms trades Rosoboronexport, told TASS on the sidelines of the World Defense Show 2024 in Riyadh. "TOS-1A modernized heavy flamethrower systems, Kornet-EM anti-tank rocket systems, close combat weapons, and firearms attract the interest of representatives of armed forces of Middle East countries," he said, when asked what kind of weapons Saudi Arabia could potentially buy from Russia. According to Mikheyev, these weapons have demonstrated perfect performance both during anti-terrorist operations in the Middle East and in the course of the special military operation. President Trump is about to unleash a war on the drug cartels like they've never seen... he's sending the military to DESTROY them!! "We will show no mercy on the cartels." 1. "Deploy all necessary military assets, including the US Navy to impose the full naval embargo and the cartels." 2. "Guarantee that the waters of the Western Hemisphere are not used to traffic illicit drugs to our country." 3. "Order the Department of Defense to make appropriate use of special forces cyber warfare and other overt and covert actions to inflict maximum damage on cartel leadership, infrastructure, and operations." 4. "Designate the major cartels as foreign terrorist organizations." 5: "Sever their access to global financial systems." 6. Fail to understand why army convoys are not equipped to tackle bullets if not bomb proof ,especially in known naxal and terrorist areas to reduce if not prevent martyrs .200 bullets fired in poonch on a convoy???? The front windscreen is shattered by bullet holes. what's the point in doing post mortem? I agree it's difficult to provide a secure ,safe environment all the time around ,but with so much of intelligence we put in to save the precious lives of our brave Defence personnel we must direct spends on such critical areas. Look at the equipment civil Guardia or American police are equipped to just stand pushing Protestors!!????They look as if they are ready for WW3.

Rounding off the 2024 Two Lanterns #politicalrisk guide with the Wild Cards. These are the low probability / high impact events that companies need to look out for. The first is an expansion of the war between Israel and Hamas. So far, it has not expanded into a full-blown regional conflict, even as it continually threatens to do so. But there has already been spillover into threats to commercial shipping and attacks against US military assets. For US-based multinationals, the main audience of this guide, it's meant that the war has not impacted their operations much. But if there were a wider war that dragged in the United States or Iran in direct conflict, that would change quickly. There's not much that companies can do about this in their internal operations, other than to have a plan in place in case this happens.
