ULI Central Florida Real Estate Trends Conference is coming up next week. I attended the annual Toward a More Competitive #Colorado (TMCC) event, hosted by Metro Denver EDC, in the company of my colleagues from our Avison Young office. High-level insights were shared from the 2024 TMCC Report and 2024 Economic Forecast for Metro Denver. Combined, both reports unpack the data highlighting Colorado's ability to compete for corporate attraction and business development. Takeaways include: ?? Continued expansion in aerospace, bioscience, and the healthcare industries. ?? Colorado maintains a highly educated workforce, yet there are opportunities to cultivate local talent and improve graduation rates. ?? We're in the preliminary stages of an affordability crunch with home prices in the Denver MSA more than doubling between 2014 and 2022. ?? The vibrant lifestyle embedded in Colorado's culture has resulted in a population that surpasses national health standards. Groundbreaking on the tower is scheduled for 2021. In Downtown Dallas, the UNT Dallas College of Law’s historic home – the former Dallas City Hall at 106 S. Harwood St. – is the city’s only public law school.
