The $100,000 in grants this year target local nonprofits aimed at supporting STEAM education and road safety throughout the community. Through the CIG program, GM is impacting our communities. Local manufacturing facilities collaborate with GM’s corporate giving arm to identify nonprofits addressing community needs. This year, GM awarded more than $3 million to over 140 nonprofits across its U.S. manufacturing communities. “We are proud to support these local nonprofit organizations that strengthen our community through the work they do every day,” said Jim Gaeschke, plant director at Pontiac Metal Center.
