?? Exciting News from Cayaba Care!??? At Cayaba Care, we're dedicated to transforming maternal health outcomes in the United States. Our mission is to provide innovative, cost-effective care that makes a real difference in the lives of mothers and infants. ?? New Program Results Highlighted ?? We recently conducted a comprehensive analysis to evaluate the impact of our program on both outcomes and costs. Using two distinct methods, we assessed our progress. ?? Key Finding: 53% Reduction in NICU Days!??? Our initial findings are incredibly promising, showing a remarkable 53% reduction in NICU days compared to the matched control group. This improvement not only enhances outcomes for newborns and mothers but also results in substantial cost savings for payors. Cayaba Care moms are more likely to breastfeed their babies compared to PA benchmarks. At Cayaba Care we are focused on making maternity care more humane and empathic while improving maternal outcomes. Our Maternity Navigator-centric model is proving to be effective and showing strong results. The benefits of breastfeeding for both babies and mothers are well documented. The WHO lists breastfeeding as one of the best activities for child health and survival. Cayaba’s Maternity Navigators provide ongoing breastfeeding education during pregnancy, and our certified lactation consultants visit moms in-home and meet them virtually to help with breastfeeding. These efforts are paying off. Since 2023, across hundreds of births, our data shows that 84% of Cayaba moms have breastfed compared to only 75% of moms in Pennsylvania. This is progress!

Rates of postpartum depression have increased to almost 1 in 5 women in the US. Cayaba Care’s model, centered on building trusting relationships through several supportive touchpoints, with continuous monitoring and behavioral health screenings, have led to a postpartum depression rate almost 55% lower than the national average. Early intervention is essential for those mothers suffering from postpartum depression and our hands-on model means we see moms much earlier and more frequently than the traditional six week OB/GYN follow up. Cayaba Care?have screened 98% of our members and are able to connect moms to the necessary resources faster. We are beyond thrilled at some of these results and this is just the beginning! We are excited to build on our momentum and continue changing the conversation about maternal health across the country.
