Catholic Charities of Central and Northern Missouri is proud to announce that we’re adding the Share the Harvest program to our client-choice food pantry! Through a partnership with the Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) and the Conservation Federation of Missouri (CFM), this program works with local meat processors to provide venison to families in need. Since 1992, over 5 million pounds of venison have been donated, offering a nutritious, high-protein food source while also helping to manage Missouri’s deer population. MDC Agent Cole Eidson states, "Share the Harvest benefits the community by helping the less fortunate gain access to healthy lean meat. Hunters get the satisfaction of giving back, and the Conservation Department is happy to support both our natural resources and the communities we serve." Donations begin this fall deer season—stay tuned for more details! #ShareTheHarvest #HuntingForGood #FoodForFamilies #CatholicCharitiesMO
