Worthing is so fortunate to have Worthing Community Chest to give grants local non-profit community groups, which make a difference to so many lives in the town.
Did you know that you can easily help raise funds for Worthing Community Trust by donating your old clothes via their textile recycling bins? Perfect if you're having a summer clear out!?? ?? ?
The green/turquoise bins (there's some debate about the colour!) are dotted all over Worthing. Find your closest one on the handy map below:

In the bin, you can put:
- All clothing and other textiles such as bed linen, cushion covers, blankets and tea towels
- Shoes and other footwear including socks, boots and trainers
-Unfortunately they can’t take pillows, duvets, sleeping bags, tents or mattresses

Last night, Nicola and Laura were honoured to attend Worthing Community Chest's AGM and hear about the exciting future plans for support they will give to local grassroots charities.
