Takeaways from last night webinar. Attorney Durant shared many things but the two I want to highlight are the following: 1. If you own a Single Member LLC make sure you have an operating agreement that states what your succession plan is. - If you have a LLC and have partners there should be a partnership agreement in place. 2. Beneficial Ownership Statement needed by the end of the year for any for-profit business that was established prior to this year. If your for-profit business was established this year then the Beneficial Ownership Statement is due 90 days after business formation. - Submit to the Financial Crimes Division - https://lnkd.in/e_Vh7wDp - This is a Federal Legislation and is a Requirement. If not submitted there are fines and penalties.
