Great post, Travis May. Reading it I was reminded of the “Stockdale Paradox” described by Jim Collins in Good to Great. As well as this powerful line in Rudyard Kipling’s poem, “If”: “If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you, But make allowance for their doubting too”

Great insight, particularly on the framing, and know the feeling. I read somewhere the phrase “constructive dissatisfaction” which had a similar resonance for my state of mind!

I love this framing and the focus on paying attention each team’s energy.
