It is exciting to see Max Kennedy - a high profile and well connected innovation leader - take over from Garth Carnaby as chair of the Bioresource Processing Alliance (BPA). Garth was instrumental in bringing Scion, AgResearch, Callaghan Innovation and The New Zealand Institute for Plant and Food Research Limited together in an innovation alliance as never seen before! I am confident that under Max's experienced leadership the Bioresource Processing Alliance (BPA) will continue to go from strength to strength - accelerating sustainable solutions with science, technology and innovation that is useful, usable and used. In this partnership we transform low-value biological by-products into economic opportunities. From a Scion perspective I am proud that our Portfolio Leader for Distributed and Circular Manufacturing - Marc Gaugler - is joining the BPA board. I am sure he will be able to contribute significantly with his innovation thinking and network, but I am also confident that it is a great development and learning opportunity for him. Marc's Scion Portfolio accelerates and contributes to thriving regions through de-centralised, distributed?and circular manufacturing approaches. Sharing one of the many stories I have about an insightful assessment tool called E-Colors that was developed by Lewis Senior. E-Colors is a brilliant tool to understand yourself more deeply and the style of those around you. I had the honor of working on an Equilibria engagement many moons ago, where I was part of a consulting team using E-Colors in a multinational company to improve performance across all types of KPI's. I have many fond memories of those days and the impact we made as a team both onshore and offshore. Ever since, I frequently recommend E-Colors to my private coaching clients as a framework to better understand team and family interaction dynamics.
