We are using Water Jet Cutting to process a metal workpiece. (Sorry I quoted the wrong analysis last time. This is not WEDM) The principle of Water Jet Cutting is to use high-pressure water flow (with abrasive) to spray through a nozzle to cut the material. The water flow exerts impact force on the workpiece and gradually cuts the material apart. In the Brightlx mold processing process, the biggest feature of water jet cutting is that it can be applied to brittle materials or heat-sensitive materials. It can achieve high-precision cutting with smooth edges. When stretching a screen 20" by 24" I use an oversized Newman Roller frame. This process can take only 15 minutes, I first stretch the mesh to desired tension, put two 20" by 24" frames on top of each other then place the Newman Roller Frame on top, I then use Kiwo Bond to glue the mesh to the 20" by 24" metal frame. One could degrease the mesh before applying to metal frame (Which takes a bit longer) or degrease after stretching and gluing. #newmanrollerframe #screen #screenprinting #mesh #masterscreenprinter #lefthandedsqueegee #kiwobond #kiwobondadhesive
