Trax has successfully powered WestJet’s digital transformation with additional mobile and paperless solutions! Trax, an AAR subsidiary, has provided WestJet with aircraft maintenance solutions for more than 20 years and recently transitioned the airline to Trax’s web-based eMRO version and multiple eMobility apps - all hosted on the Trax Cloud environment - to boost users’ ability to work from anywhere. “We are proud to be part of advancing our customers’ operations through further use of our products,” said Omar Santos, Vice President at Trax. The U.S. Navy has awarded AAR a five-year P-8A Poseidon engine overhaul contract. This new award follows a recently announced award under which AAR will continue to perform P-8A airframe maintenance for the U.S. Navy. This marks an important step forward in AAR’s strategy to grow and advance its commercial derivative business through the delivery of integrated solutions. “We are proud to expand our support of the Navy’s maritime patrol and reconnaissance mission through P-8A maintenance and repair,” said Nicholas Gross, AAR’s Senior Vice President of Integrated Solutions.
