?? Focus on ECtHR good compliers within the EU ?? Among the 27 EU member states, only 11 states have been classified as good, very good or excellent compliers. These states are the Netherlands, Latvia, Ireland, Finland, Czechia and Austria which are overall good compliers; Slovenia, Luxembourg, Estonia and Denmark which rank as very good compliers, and Sweden whose ECtHR implementation record can be considered excellent. Despite the slight increase of one or more of the three indicators, in some of these countries compared to 2022, good, very good and excellent compliers are in general jurisdictions which do not generate a high number of violation-finding judgments, and which overall implement judgments in due time. ?? Additionally, some of these countries, notably Czechia and Slovenia, have set in place strong ECtHR implementation mechanisms at the national level, which can serve as a good practice for other member states facing difficulties with ECtHR implementation. ??
