In a first-of-its-kind renewable energy aggregation, Massachusetts higher education institutions, healthcare systems, and a group of public and nonprofit organizations in Greater Boston, including GBH, are adding large-scale renewable energy projects to regional power grids by establishing the Consortium for Climate Solutions to broaden access to large-scale renewable energy projects. "GBH is proud to participate in the Consortium for Climate Solutions, which exemplifies the power of collaboration in addressing climate change. Boston Preservation Alliance Executive Director Chris Cook joined "The Big Dig" producers Ian Coss and Isabel Catalina Hibbard for a conversation and walk in Boston to discuss the impact of the 40-year-long project that replaced Boston’s elevated highway with one underground - the most expensive and controversial highway project built in the United States. via Boston Preservation Alliance: "'The Big Dig Podcast' goes beyond the preservation of Boston’s history. Today’s #GBHMural features ceramics made by Ana Crowley Noordzij. By treating the bowl as the original sculpture, Noordzij explores the beauty of idea synthesis. Noordzij studied at Massachusetts College of Art and Design and received a degree in ceramics at Bradford College. This piece is displayed as part of our "Community Canvas" series presented by GBH News's "The Culture Show" to feature artwork from community members on our digital mural.
