A great day at the Care Roadshow Wales today with Amrit Dhaliwal QFP Saad Baig ?? Matthew Bond discussing technology integration. Some very interesting points made and from different perspectives. Some takeaways are. Choose your tech wisely. It should address the challenges that you face. Anything you introduce must be intuitive and easy to use and bring real benefits to those using it. Make sure that it integrates with what you already use to avoid duplication of entry. Information should only need to be entered once at the ‘point of truth’. Review contracts carefully. Look to restrict any future price increases because moving platforms is very costly. Caring is first and foremost about the residents. Anything that frees up time to allow more social interactions should be welcomed. AI will hopefully work to interpret data and provide easy access and useful direction for team members.
