Carbon to Sea is excited to share a progress update from the R?st Marine Research Center – a first-of-its-kind OAE research hub in Hvalfj?reur, Iceland. Last year, our partners kicked off foundational research to collect baseline data about the site. These findings will help inform the design of effective and responsible OAE field trials in 2025. In the coming weeks, we’ll share more information about partnership opportunities for additional scientists and sensor providers to get involved with this field research. Thank you to all of our partners who make this work possible, including: Transition Labs, R?st Marine Research Center, [C]Worthy, Ebb Carbon, and Hafrannsóknastofnun - Marine & Freshwater Research Institute.
