Did you know there are easy ways you could volunteer your time to help Table to Table? One way is by making sandwiches. The staff at AEGIS Insurance Services, Inc. gets together once a month and makes peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for our community partners. As ambassadors for Restaurants Care we are pleased to share that today the nonprofit opened a $200,000 disaster fund to kick-start direct assistance to food and beverage workers who have lost their homes, jobs, and stability in the LA Fires. This means anyone in F&B - from restaurants, hotels, and food trucks to catering and event venues - can apply for a one-time grant up to $1,500 to assist with critical needs like housing, food, and clothing as workers begin to recover from this crisis. Grants are awarded based on need and available funds. Applications may be filled out at restaurantscare.org and managers can start an application on behalf of an employee. Stay strong, LA ????
