Today’s chaos requires leadership and a new statecraft: The threat from Communist China is not new but it has been allowed to metastasize and grow to be an existential threat. Simply dusting off old approaches will not work. A new statecraft is called for, that leverages our strengths and operates against our foes’ weaknesses. And likewise rightly prioritizes national action. Making matters even more challenging today in this New Cold War is that we face not just one major rival. U.S. Naval Power in the 21st Century Offers a framework for winning the New Cold War while keeping it ‘cold’ - that framework is called Naval Statecraft: “Brent Sadler’s timely and compelling contribution to maritime strategy and broader strategic thinking is refreshing. He convincingly blends military, economic, and technical insight in addressing the strategic challenges of our time. ?U.S. Naval Power in the 21st Century stands apart as a thoughtful and convincing call for relevant and renewed American naval power and the imperative of naval statecraft in ensuring American prosperity and global influence.”—ADM Gary Roughead, USN (Ret.), former Chief of Naval Operations Get the book here: https://lnkd.in/eMmBUD3V
