I totally agree that we need to seriously protect not just the rainforests but many parks and wooded areas all over the world. I see massive flooding and landslide everywhere. I rarely see greeneries near the rivers and on the hills when I travel in cities or near different cities. Instead, people keep building structures where trees used to hold the soil and absorb the water from the soil to prevent soil erosion and landslide. We need to stop over construction of condominiums and buildings along the side of creeks and rivers. Stop the deforestation of mountains and hills to build resorts or hotels. Stop the greediness. Respect Nature. We must restore many areas that were devastated by natural calamities through reforestation and planting more trees for the future generations. Allow our natural environment to heal.

High quality shouldn't be a stumbling block and yet, with NbS carbon projects it often still is... looking forward to this panel discussion on how high integrity, which generally means higher project costs, can be financed at the project level (perhaps with premium price guarantees from off-takers?) and how a standard's more stringent methodologies can assist investors and project developers alike in the process...
