Election day is less than a week away.... ???? In addition to the elections, there are a number of initiatives, referenda, amendments, and propositions on the ballot, with the legalization of cannabis being one of those in a few states. Both presidential candidates have different views on cannabis, but how will the industry look under a Trump or Harris administration? In a recent paper, we took a deeper dive to highlight some of the key differences. While it appears a Harris administration will be more favorable, we suspect Trump would maintain much of the current structure. As Jeremy Berke from Cultivated wrote earlier, "No matter who wins the White House next month, we’re likely to get some form of federal cannabis reform.
