"We had an absolute fantastic experience with C&J, they came out to take a look at our well and water quality overall. We have been fighting some staining in our bathrooms and skin sensitivity that seemed to flare up for my daughter. They are the first people to come out and take our concerns seriously even after a water test of our well showed no iron and very few other trace minerals. The result seems to be a dead water softener the silica was breaking down in and causing extra issues for dry skin and the orange staining. We have been extremely pleased with the water quality since their visit and will do business with C&J again should we have needs in the future!" - Ben Schmutzler ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us a positive review, Ben! The Great Blue Hole in the BELIZE is a stunning marine sinkhole. At the top of the hole is a layer of fresh water, while the bottom is filled with denser saline (salt) water. These layers do not mix due to their difference in density. The freshwater, being less dense, stays on top, while the heavier saline water remains at the bottom. This separation creates distinct environments within the hole, supporting different types of marine life and contributing to the unique ecological characteristics of the Great Blue Hole.

Here’s a fascinating case study from our team, illustrating the challenges of managing artesian wells and the impact of water hammer on borehole infrastructure. In this instance, Igne supported a client over 4,600 miles away, guiding repairs to restore proper function after surge flow damaged a well in America. This story highlights our expertise in artesian well management and our ability to assist clients, no matter how complex the issue. Discover how our knowledge and support can safeguard water well systems, whether in the UK or even beyond! https://lnkd.in/eQcVEHhy
Hot on the heels of Halloween, how about a Freaky Friday Case Study? Back in October 2021, an artesian water well on land in Lilliwaup in the USA was damaged due to a condition known as water hammer or surge flow. This can occur when flow rates change and it can cause high pressure, high force or even a reversal of flow. When the well was damaged, the well cap needed repairing. The owner attempted to disconnect the water supply to make the repair, then also discovered the main line extending directly from the well cap was warped due to the rapid opening of the 2'' main line during?the surge flow event. Because the well was an artesian one, no matter what the owner did, he couldn’t stop water free flowing to the surface from his aquifer and flooding his land. Having Googled a solution, he found Igne (we are experts in managing artesian flow) and our staff guided him through a comprehensive repair process - from 4,600 miles away! https://lnkd.in/e58F9WGn Closer to home, no matter where you are in the UK, we offer comprehensive water well solutions: from hydrogeological survey to drilling, from treatment, repair or on-going maintenance. Trust Igne with your water supply. (If you don't get the cultural reference...never mind!) #IgneInsight #WaterWell #WaterBorehole #ArtesianPressure

Elephants are known to dig for a few reasons. One main reason is to access water. In dry regions, elephants use their tusks and trunks to excavate dry riverbeds or dig holes to reach underground water sources. They also dig to create mud baths, which help them cool down and protect their skin from the sun and insects. Elephants might also dig to access roots, bulbs, or minerals in the soil that are part of their diet.
