CareerCircle this is a question I have for all virtual career fairs and career fairs in general. Where is the list of companies that will be attending the event? From a user flow, you would think clicking on "Get more info" as we have given you all of our information would allow us to see a list of companies. All we are able to see is the companies between the two flyers you have provided. The one's on your website and the repost image: CVS Health, University of Maryland Global Campus, TEKsystems, GSK, Daikin Comfort, Comcast, Lincoln Financial Group, Actalent and Leidos. Maybe I am expecting this list too soon, however, as of this post it is 5 days before the fair and it would be nice if the candidates would be allow to do research on the companies that would be there to prepare custom resumes and cover letters if the companies have a slot open for are career interest. Please let myself and the individuals in my network who may read this post know where we can locate a full list of companies that will be at your career fair this Thursday for your #womenintech theme career fair.

Ever wondered how to turn a career fair conversation into a job offer? These incredible panelists shared the strategies to make it happen. A big thank you to Jesse Marrow of The Cigna Group, Miriam Ortiz of The Jackson Laboratory, and Hartford Promise Scholars Ashley Townsend and Kobe Hamilton for sharing their expertise and advice during our Career Fest Prep Session this week! Ashley, recently accepted into Cigna’s Technology Development Program, and Kobe, who will soon begin working full time at The Hartford, joined Jesse and Miriam to help scholars get ready for our upcoming Career Fest in January. Here’s what they shared: ?? Research is key: Be intentional by researching companies ahead of time—asking, “What does your company do?” is a big no-no. ?? Share your story: Your personal background and experiences are your power—connect them to the company’s mission to make a lasting impression. ?? Resume tips: Highlight relevant skills and experiences while avoiding common mistakes to stand out to employers. ?? Build aligned experience: Internships or career-related roles are invaluable—even if you’re already working to support yourself or your family. ?? Stand out with strategy: From crafting a strong elevator pitch to asking thoughtful, specific questions, preparation sets you apart. The Career Fair is in less than a month now! ??? Until then, let’s have a throwback look at the WorkInHealth Foundation’s launch event 2021. At the time, our goals were already well-established: 1?? Address the evident and growing skills and talent gaps within the healthcare industry across Europe. 2?? Promote healthcare as a sector in which talent can thrive. 3?? Enable these talents to access this sector in various ways, and create a network that will support them in pursuing it.
