We are thrilled to announce that the application we submitted for the USDA's New ERA (Empowering Rural America) program has been accepted. Seven States will receive a $439M investment to build more than 250MWs of renewable energy to serve the growing needs of the Tennessee Valley. This project will power approximately 113,000 homes on average per year. A Waste to Energy wave is slowly but surely building momentum across Australia, providing landfill with a credible challenger to its monopoly status across many jurisdictions. ?????????????? is currently supporting a number of bidders, developers, councils and procuring authorities in all active states to develop and deliver much-needed WtE facilities: ????: The East Rockingham and Kwinana WtE facilities are progressing with hot commissioning, after lengthy delays. ?????????????? is the Independent Certifier and Lender's Engineer at the Kwinana facility. ??????: A particularly active state, with the South East Melbourne (SEMAWP) procurement, four proposed facilities granted operational licences and more likely to be approved under Victoria’s one million tpa thermal treatment cap. ?????????????? is Technical Advisor for SEMAWP and a number of developers. ??????: The preferred developer of the WtE facility in Parkes is expected to be announced shortly, while Veolia is working through around 1,000 engagement submissions for its Advanced Energy Recovery Centre at Woodlawn. ?????????????? has provided feedstock modeling and procurement support to bidders and developers. ??????: The City of Gold Coast is the current centre of attention, with bidders finalising Expressions of Interest for its significant ARRC precinct at Stapylton.
