A simple post today. One of the lovely aspects of spending time in Siena are the innumerable hidden corners and pockets of interest throughout the city. Once you settle in, Siena is quite easy to navigate. Yet new viewpoints somehow arise as you traverse the city, each offering a new perspective of this ancient city. This photo was taken just after 9 pm, looking toward the Publico (the building with the tall tower on the left), an iconic Siena structure that is a more familiar sight from the main piazza on the other side, so viewing it from this vantage point broadens my appreciation for the countless historical buildings that define this city. It is a great reminder of the importance of breaking routines and finding new ways to view things, including those that are otherwise familiar. #challengeconvention #travelerseyes #growthmindset #openminded
