Join us for the 2024 California APALSA Gathering at the Cal-APABA San Francisco Conference. The event will take place on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at the San Francisco Hyatt Regency, 5 Embarcadero Center. The conference will include a workshop on preparing APALSA students to network with attorneys, followed by an APALSA Reception and a general reception where students can meet attorneys and judges. The conference has been designed to maximize interaction, learning, and fun. It will feature panels and workshops, a Judges' reception on Friday and Saturday, a private docent-led tour of the Asian Art Museum, and an optional wine-tasting tour of Sonoma. This is a great opportunity to connect, learn, and network with fellow students, AAPI attorneys, and judges. Students can take advantage of early-bird registration rates until June 20, 2024. Open Plan was a long-term public art and learning programme led by South London Gallery from 2017 to 2024. Through commissions and ongoing projects, SLG’s learning and programme teams collaborated with residents from Elmington, Pelican, and Sceaux Gardens housing estates, located near the gallery. In October 2024, the programme ended with a final evaluation report by our research partners, Shared Intelligence.
