Over the past few months, I’ve been getting a lot of questions regarding the amazing opportunities I’ve been able to access during my time in college and post-college. I’ve taken some time to reflect and shared my answers below. I hope this helps ??. Answers: 1. Be genuinely interested in other people. It takes 1 minute to send a supportive message or share an opportunity that could help someone. Most importantly, support people without expecting anything back (shoutout to my mom for teaching me this ). 2. Stop being afraid to fail. People are paying attention to you but not as much as you think. People have too many things competing for their attention. Don’t be afraid to just put yourself out there and share the projects you’ve been working on behind the scenes. 3. Stop being afraid of reaching out to new people. If you have a conversation with someone and don’t click immediately, it’s okay. If someone doesn’t respond to your message, it’s okay. But sometimes people respond, and that new connection turns into a long term relationship that can have a profound impact on your life. 4. Create better habits and systems to be more consistent, rather than just setting goals. However, it’s really been the supportive mentors and sponsors that said yes and decided to invest in me that’s made the most significant impact. #linkedinforcreators #womenempowerment
1000% correct. It is maintaining and strengthening relationships that take you places.
