Hello, I am Aman Sharma, Marketing Manager at Open Door Education. I work on marketing of Open Door. ?? I create ads and write emails to connect with school leaders, showing them how our programs can truly make a difference in their schools, I make Social Media Stories, organize and run contests, also I plan conferences. ?????? Why It Matters: These efforts help schools discover how Open Door can enhance their teaching and learning. By connecting through ads, social media, emails, and conferences, I ensure that educators know how Open Door can support their goals and help their students think critically. My motivation at work comes from constantly brainstorming and experimenting with new ideas for our marketing campaigns. There's a special kind of satisfaction in trying out different strategies to see what really works for us. ?? For example, I recently put together a gallery page showcasing photos from various workshops and onboarding sessions we've held with schools, parents, and students. To make the most of this content, I created a newsletter featuring these photos and sent it out to school leaders. To my delight, we received a lot of inquiries about our programs as a result! ???? Moments like these, where unconventional ideas turn into successful outcomes, are what really drive me. It's incredibly rewarding to see my creative efforts make a real impact and generate genuine interest in what we do at Open Door. ?? #opendooreducation #Thinkingclassroom #ThinkingAssessment #Think #education

"I now feel more equipped to build a product that will help my users grow." Hearing this from an audience member at ProductCamp Chicago made it immediately worth the trip! In this talk, I broke the traditional lecture format to moderate a group discussion. With a group of around 50 we worked through the core concept of "Bridging Intention to Impact" the User Outcome Connection. We worked through a collection of problems I has prepared along with those the audience contributed. While a different setup and surely a vulnerable experience as it placed me at the center of the discussion, I found that the engagement of the audience was energetic. In the end, I had the most people reach out to me afterwards to share how helpful they found the session. Week 2 of the book tour is in the books. Speaking at two high-rise gatherings in downtown Chicago was a sureal feeling. At both talks I continue to experiment, deck, setup, and talk track. Each comes with great learnings to shape me into a better speaker to ultimately share my messages more effectively! #conference #speaking #session #product #reflection

I thought it was time for another Fishbowl Session for Wonder & Workshops! Do you have anything you're tackling right now in facilitation, workshopping, workshop design, and so on, that you may have questions about or hit a roadblock with? Bring all those questions with you to our next Wonder & Workshops! So what do we do in these sessions? ?? ??Get on the spot, insightful and kind input from other facilitators in the room. ??Explore challenges that have come up and get ideas for approaching them in a way you may not have thought about before. ? Meet others who have similar passions and can share their own experiences. What the heck is a Fishbowl? ?? ? A conversation where the audience chimes in and is part of the panel sharing answers. ? Usually led by a moderator (I'm your moderator here - Rachel!) people jump in and out of the fishbowl panel virtually to help give insight into the question or challenge that's being highlighted. ? Butter ?? makes fishbowl panels super easy by using the "queue" button to indicate your interest of hopping into the fishbowl (don't worry I'll show you how!) Who should attend? ?? ? ANYONE AT ALL with a facilitation question or challenge that you want other facilitator input on! ??Doesn't matter if you already know me or not — everyone is invited! ??Anyone who is even a little bit curious about workshopping. Join us here - https://lu.ma/b9rtoahi Hope to see you there! ??

1 whole month of building a workshops vertical. Time flies when you're having fun (and slightly losing your mind about it). Weekly recap of learnings, like always: ?? The WAY I've had to invest in myself before I see results. This is not just time and effort, but also monetary. It's hard to put in ?? when you don't know when / how much you're going to get back. ?? The pace with which I've been working this month is catching up to me. My head feels considerably heavier because of all the open tabs. I need to bring back my weekly artist dates (a practice from The Artist's Way), which is time off for myself, and by myself to bring back creativity and flow. I'll literally be scheduling them in my Google Calendar. Please feel free to randomly ask me about it to hold me accountable. ?? While talking to a loved one yesterday, I realised how lonely I'd been feeling this month because I'm unsure if people got my big picture the way I did. Then I spoke to my boss (who also built her own thing), had a laugh, and felt kinda better. I need to do this more often. PS: Have a look at the nicest orange juice I've ever had- I've had daydreams about this.

It took courage for me to mention that I’m on a 3 months break yesterday. But it is happening. Why? Break from what? To put it simply, I lost motivation and on top of that my mind was clouded with “who’s going to take care of the kids?” I was overwhelmed with everything and I had to pull the breaks. It was tough to make that decision, knowing I love to work on design projects. But it was a long time coming. I had to do something about it. So what is my plan for the break? 1?? Share stories with illustrations 2?? Document in videos of my illustrations and life as creative on Youtube 3?? Light work with Eliyco’s upcoming workshops 4?? Focus on my kids’ third quarter development (Primary 1 registration is coming!) What about you, have you found yourself needing to take long breaks lately? How do you spend your breaks? No matter what, it is OKAY to take them (telling myself, *cough cough*). Breaks are productive, and it is always the reason for your next breakthrough. Best believe it!

TechWeek SF & LA here we come! Last year, when we did our first storytelling workshop at New York Tech Week, I wasn’t sure what to expect. We had over 500 people sign up and 150 who actually participated, and what blew me away was how much people craved the ability to tell their story better. It became so clear that storytelling is no longer a “nice-to-have” – it's essential. Every business, every leader, everyone who wants to make an impact needs to know how to communicate their story in a way that truly resonates. The energy in that room was incredible. People were hungry to learn, to practice, and to take what we taught them and apply it the very next day. We talked about how to take complex ideas and turn them into something simple, how to tailor your message to different audiences, and how to build a story that doesn’t just sound good but drives real results. And now, we’re bringing that same workshop to San Francisco and Los Angeles for Tech Week. For me, it’s personal. Storytelling has always been at the core of what we do at Leave a Mark. It’s how we connect with people, how we inspire, how we move the needle for businesses. So coming back to host this workshop again, this time on the West Coast, feels like another step in the journey. We’re not just teaching a skill—we’re helping people unlock the potential of their ideas. If you’re around, join us in SF or LA. We’re going to dive deep into storytelling, covering everything from crafting your core message to making sure it aligns with your business goals. And I promise, it’ll be practical, hands-on, and something you can start using right away. SF Sign Up: https://lu.ma/ln11c99u Friday, October 11 9:00 AM - 10:30 AM LA Sign Up: https://lu.ma/5std1i8r Tuesday, October 15 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM Hope to see you there! #SFTechWeek #LATechWeek
